One of my favorite Pilsners, but tough to find where I live nowadays. This is a future planned brew, unsure of how close it is but based on an interview I found with the brewer.

26 IBU
1.049 ➔ 1.010 = 5.2% ABV

Multistep Mash (70% Mash Eff)

First Step
151°F For 60 Minutes
Second Step
165°F For 15 Minutes

Weyermann Pilsner Malt (1.8°L)

Add 10.4 lbs to the mash tun

+ 1.049 SG / 100% of grist

Base Malt

Kettle 75 Minute Boil

Opal (DE)

Boil 0.48 oz of 8.7% AAU pellets for 60 minutes

+15 IBU

Boil Hop

Opal (DE)

Boil 0.95 oz of 8.7% AAU pellets for 10 minutes

+11 IBU

Boil Hop

Hersbrucker (DE)

Steep 1 oz of 3.2% AAU pellets at 185°F for 15 minutes

Steeping Hop

Tettnanger (DE)

Steep 1 oz of 4.8% AAU pellets at 185°F for 15 minutes

Steeping Hop

Hallertau Mittelfrüh (DE)

Steep 1 oz of 5.3% AAU pellets at 185°F for 15 minutes
